He laughs at that, glad that he's still doing everything right. Sitting down, Dave opens the food boxes, offering first some flakey gozleme, stuffed with cheese and spinach. There's the gozleme, gormet sicilian pizza, waffles loaded with toppings, Max Brenner chocolates and beignets.
He honestly considered getting champagne or wine, but even if it wasn't readily available on the island normally, he knew it really would just set himself to be screwed over for Valentine's Day. The light craft beer and water would have to do this time around.
"Would you hold it against me if I said that I kinda don't want you to get over it just yet? I feel like I'm on a roll here."
